No one in Kentucky should have to choose between the health of their pregnancy and their job. Yet, this is happening all too often in the Commonwealth. The Kentucky Pregnant Workers’ Rights Act (KY PWRA), filed during the regular session of the 2017 General Assembly (HB 260/SB172), would ensure that pregnant workers are given fair treatment on the job and would promote equal opportunity in the workplace.  The bills were assigned to committee, but didn't move any further during the short legislative session.
