People's State of the Union Story Circle

January 29, 2015 @ 5:30 pm
@ 7:30 pm

Once a year, the President delivers the State of the Union address, a speech meant to highlight important national issues from the past year and suggest priorities for the coming year. It's a broadcast from one to many. But what if, once a year, we could all speak and listen to each other? What if we could supplement the President's stories with our own? The People's State of the Union is an invitation to do just that.

During the week of January 23-30, more than 150 story circles have signed up to participate across the country!

As a creative chamber of commerce IDEAS is happy to be participating with the U.S. Department of Arts and Culture to offer a public story circle in partnership with ACLUFairness CampaignStageOne Family Theatre and Bridge Kids International on Thursday, January 29 from 5:30-7:30pm at Zephyr Gallery (610 E Market St).

We have limited capacity so an RSVP is required for participation. RSVP here!

Join creatives, entrepreneurs and civic leaders as we share our stories about experiences that reveal something new or important about the state of Louisville's union.
