Fairness would protect LGBTQ Kentuckians from discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodation. A majority of Kentuckians become protected by local ordinances in 2021. It's time to extend this to all people, no matter where they live.

Fairness legislation would amend the Kentucky Civil Rights Act to create statewide anti-discrimination protections for LGBTQ Kentuckians in housing, employment, and public accommodation. A majority of Kentuckians live in towns and cities that have already passed local Fairness ordinances, but it's time to ensure all people are protected from anti-LGBTQ discrimination in all corners of the commonwealth. Fairness isn't only the right thing to do; it also attracts businesses and grows our economy.
