University of Louisville v. Sharp; University Medical Center v. ACLU of KY, et al (2012)

These two related cases arose as a result of our investigation into the proposed merger of the University of Louisville Hospital with Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI). In that investigation, we sought various records from both the Univ. of Louisville and University Medical Center (UMC) under Kentucky’s Open Records Act, but both entities refused to provide the requested documents.
