ACLU of Kentucky and NCLR Statement on Sixth Circuit Decision to Reverse Injunction in Transgender Youth Health Care Ban Case

The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals today declined to lift the stay of the preliminary injunction in Doe v Thornbury, our case regarding medically necessary care for transgender youth in Kentucky. The ban on this care in Kentucky remains in effect.
