Bill of Rights Dinner

Join us on November 5th as we celebrate the return of The Carl L. Wedekind Bill of Rights Dinner! We gather in support of the work of the ACLU of Kentucky and hear from Keynote Speaker Deborah Archer, National ACLU President and leading expert in civil rights, civil liberties, and racial justice, and an award-winning teacher and legal scholar.

The Carl L. Wedekind Bill of Rights Dinner is an evening dedicated to celebrating the enduring fight for civil liberties and the people who make that work possible across Kentucky. At a time when so many fundamental rights are being challenged in courts, classrooms, communities, and legislatures, this gathering is both a celebration of progress and a recommitment to the work ahead.

The evening will bring together advocates, community leaders, supporters, and Kentuckians from across the Commonwealth who believe in the promise of freedom, equality, and justice for all. Together, we will reflect on the victories we’ve achieved, honor the legacy of those who paved the way, and look toward the future we are continuing to build together.

We are especially honored to welcome keynote speaker Deborah Archer, President of the National American Civil Liberties Union, a nationally recognized expert on civil rights, civil liberties, and racial justice.

We hope you will join us for an inspiring evening of reflection, connection, and renewed commitment to protecting the rights and dignity of every Kentuckian.
