Qualified Charitable Distributions

Donate via QCDs.

The ACLU-KY Foundation is eligible to receive QCDs.

Through a QCD, you can make direct transfers from your IRA up to $111,000 per year (up to $222,000 if you and your partner file taxes jointly and each has their own IRA) to the ACLU-KY Foundation. This withdrawal is not treated as taxable income, making QCD’s a tax-efficient way to give. Please consult your tax advisor if you have additional questions about QCDs.

Please note that no goods or services can be provided in exchange for a QCD. If a donor receives event tickets, meals, or other benefits, the distribution will not qualify as a QCD.
