The ACLU of Kentucky invites energetic civil libertarians to run for election to the Board of Directors.

A member of the Board is expected to:

  • Be a member of the ACLU of Kentucky
  • Attend six board meetings a year including the Annual Meeting
  • Serve actively on at least one committee
  • Monitor and evaluate programs and services
  • Participate in fundraising, including making a financial contribution according to your ability
  • Serve as an ambassador for the ACLU of Kentucky

Terms are for three years with the opportunity for a second term. Elections will be held at the Annual Meeting in April 2018. 

If you have the time and commitment to be an active board member, you are encouraged to run for a seat. Send your name, address, email address, phone number and a brief statement of your background and qualifications (profession, community involvement, ACLU involvement (if applicable) and why you wish to serve on the ACLU of Kentucky Board of Directors.
