Pathway to Progress: 2025-28 Strategic Plan
PURPOSE
The ACLU of Kentucky, established in 1955, is the premier state organization working to protect the liberties of and push for more freedom and equality among all Kentuckians. In collaboration with consulting partner Converge Consulting, LLC and the ACLU of Kentucky Strategic Planning Committee, the ACLU of Kentucky has developed a strategic plan to guide the organization through the years 2025 to 2028.
This strategic plan outlines three (3) primary strategic directions – two (2) external and one (1) internal – that seek to create and protect a thriving, multiracial society across Kentucky:
- Build a sustainable organization that is representative of the communities we come from,
- Strengthen democracy and increase civic participation among systemically excluded communities, and
- Build power for impacted communities and strengthen the Commonwealth’s movement infrastructure.
