WHAT:
Attorneys from the American Civil Liberties Union will appear at the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit on January 29th in Cincinnati, OH, for oral arguments in a case challenging Kentucky’s abortion method ban. Leading medical organizations such as the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists oppose this type of restriction.
A federal district court struck down the law in May 2019. The Commonwealth of Kentucky appealed the ruling to the Sixth Circuit.
