The expungement process is prohibitively lengthy and expensive, even for eligible Kentuckians. It's time to automate portions of that process to give eligible Kentuckians access to employment, housing, and other resources required for success.

No child should be subjected to the dangerous and torturous practice of "conversion therapy." This legislation gained a record number of co-sponsors from both parties in the past. Some towns have passed bans; it's time to protect all Kentucky children from this torturous and debunked practice.

Recent anti-LGBTQ+ bills denied medically necessary care for transgender youth, criminalized providers who offer such care to their patients, prohibited transgender youth from playing sports, and much more.

State sponsored censorship is often thinly disguised as "parents rights" bills claiming to protect children from "inappropriate" materials.

Everyone has made mistakes, and no person should be defined by the worst parts of their past. It's time for Kentucky to permanently restore voting rights to people with felony convictions in their past. Momentum is still building with more lawmakers supporting this bill each year.

The death penalty is not justice, and the government should never have the authority to end a person's life. Abolition has earned more support than in years past and we will continue advocating for the complete abolition of this barbaric punishment.

Students need education that is scientifically and medically accurate, and includes comprehensive information.

Fairness would protect LGBTQ Kentuckians from discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodation. A majority of Kentuckians become protected by local ordinances in 2021. It's time to extend this to all people, no matter where they live.

State agencies and local officials must be accountable to the people.
