Fairness would protect LGBTQ Kentuckians from discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodation. A majority of Kentuckians become protected by local ordinances in 2021. It's time to extend this to all people, no matter where they live.

State agencies and local officials must be accountable to the people.

Public schools should not subject children to corporal punishment.

Also known as a "gag rule," this legislation would limit the information healthcare providers can share with their patients. Similar legislation is filed each year and some has already become law.

No person should be subjected to solitary confinement, especially not Kentucky kids. Legislation to limit solitary confinement has advanced in recent years. We will continue pushing to end it entirely.

No person should be denied access to healthcare because of who they are. This legislation failed in recent years, but will likely be filed in 2023 and gain more traction.

No person should lose their job or be sent home from school for how they wear their hair. Several Kentucky communities have passed local ordinances, and it's beyond time for this protection to extend to all Kentuckians.

Decisions about pregnancy are deeply personal and are best made by the pregnant person themselves. The state should never have the authority to force a person to remain pregnant against their will.

The government should never stifle dissent or infringe on your right to protest.
