Film Screening Rikers: An American Jail

Free event on Sunday, April 15 from 1-3:00 pm at the Speed Museum Cinema, 2035 South Third Street, for a screening of the Bill Moyers' film Rikers: An American Jail followed by discussion with two special guests from the film. This documentary showcases the stories of people who have experienced incarceration at Rikers. Please note that the film contains mature content, which may not be suitable for all audiences. Presentations and discussions following the film will also focus on the impact of incarceration on families, as a prelude to Monday’s Mass Story Lab.
