The Commonwealth Voter Campaign is working to make sure Kentuckians have the accurate information they need to cast their ballots with confidence and make their voices heard. We’re mobilizing voters, volunteers, and communities across Kentucky to participate, encourage others to vote, and vote like their rights depend on it. Because the decisions made at the ballot box shape our rights, our communities, and the future of our democracy.

The egregious decision leaves little recourse for those who endure discrimination on the basis of race, sex, and disability.

HB9 would divert public school dollars into unaccountable charter schools that could deny students access based on race, religion, sexual orientation, or ability.

Kentucky lawmakers voted to ban schools, colleges, and universities from requiring universal masking. This may force students with some disabilities to choose between their health and their education.

Public school dollars do not belong in private schools. Past legislation is currently blocked in court, but lawmakers would reduce funding by $25M annually, harm Kentucky students, and reduce transparency around how your tax dollars are spent. It also paves the way for school vouchers statewide.

No person should be denied access to healthcare because of who they are. This legislation failed in recent years, but will likely be filed in 2023 and gain more traction.
