Voting is about more than choosing candidates. It is one of the clearest ways we shape the laws, policies, and priorities that affect our everyday lives.
From free speech and privacy to reproductive freedom, LGBTQ+ rights, criminal justice, and access to the ballot itself, the people we elect make decisions that can protect our freedoms or put them at risk.
That is why every election matters. Know what is at stake. Make a plan to vote. Encourage the people in your life to do the same.
Your voice matters. Your vote matters. Use both.
Join the ACLU of Kentucky for our electoral campaign as a paid canvasser!
Our goal is to knock on 1,800 doors by Election Day. We'll talk with our neighbors about issues that matter to us and why it's important to consider them when you go to the polls.
Each canvass will include a training at the beginning, so newcomers and seasoned canvassers are more than welcome!
You will receive information on the meet-up location in the week leading up to each canvass.
