Challenged state law which required a married woman to vote in her husband's surname.

Challenged university policy in which men had unrestricted hours and women had curfews.

Western Kentucky canceled the showing of The Fly, a film made by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

United States v. Charles (1971)

Another Jehovah's Witness filed suit to protest the draft and had his sentence partially reduced.

Clark v. Shelbyville School District (1972)

Suit filed on behalf of black parents whose children were enrolled in the seperate Shelbyville school system. 

November 20, 2017 Youth Rights

Black Citizens' Committee of Hopkins County v. Wadill (1972)

Challenged the exclusion of blacks from juries in Hopkins County.
