SB 142 - Paid Family Leave

No person should be forced to choose between keeping their job and caring for their children. Paid family leave would allow Kentucky workers up to 12 weeks of paid family leave per year for the birth of a child or to care for a family member.

Improving Maternal Health

Kentucky has some of the worst birth outcomes in the US, with Black Kentuckians are especially at risk. We need proactive maternal health legislation that eliminates the racial disparities in maternal health outcomes for Black parents in Kentucky and makes our state safer for all birthing people.

Banning Conversion Therapy

No child should be subjected to the dangerous and torturous practice of "conversion therapy." This legislation gained a record number of co-sponsors from both parties in the past. Some towns have passed bans; it's time to protect all Kentucky children from this torturous and debunked practice.

LGBTQ Fairness

Fairness would protect LGBTQ Kentuckians from discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodation. A majority of Kentuckians become protected by local ordinances in 2021. It's time to extend this to all people, no matter where they live.
