The ACLU of Kentucky joined our allies with the Fairness Campaign and JCTA for what has become an annual protest of the Kentucky Farm Bureau at their Country Ham Breakfast at the Kentucky State Fair.

We protest and educate folks about Kentucky Farm Bureau's discriminatory polices that are anti-LGBT, anti-teacher, anti-union, anti-choice, and pro-death penalty.  (Read the full policy booklet KY Farm Bureau doesn't want you to see here).

This year our peaceful protest ended in the arrest of three Fairness Campaign activists Chris Hartman, Carla Wallace, and Sonja de Vries for Failure to Disperse, after they, and other activists stood silently at their table during the event. All three have been released from jail.

You can watch the shocking arrest video on our Facebook page.
