We are excited to welcome part-time, statewide LGBT rights organizer Tamarri Wieder to our staff! As the momentum toward LGBT non-discrimination (“Fairness”) efforts grows on the local and state level, there was a need to build our capacity by adding a new staff member.

Federal court refuses state’s request to dismiss redistricting case as moot
Sabrina Butler was 17 years old when she found her infant son, Walter, had stopped breathing. She tried to revive him, but by the time Walter reached the emergency room it was too late. The medics who tried to save Walter found bruises on his body and called the police.
We recently joined our good friend Elizabeth Jones for a Know Your Rights presentation with the Law and Government cluster of the Chestnut Street YMCA Black Achievers Program in Louisville. Great conversation, and lots of smiles with our new Lady Liberty sign.
The victories we celebrate in this year's annual report are the result of a lot of hard work by a lot of people.
